The School of Management of the University of Gothenburg is having a seminar about the findings of a study carried out A. Diedrich and H. Hellgren focusing on labour market integration of foreign-born persons.
The overall purpose of the study by Diedrich and Hellgren is to review contemporary labour market integration initiatives targeting foreign-born persons in the Gothenburg Metropolitan Area (“Storgöteborg”). The report includes a map revealing the diversity of such initiatives for three sectors — private, public and third —, and aims at initiating a discussion about the connections between different initiatives and activities, and the potential consequences for different groups and individuals.
