The aim of project “WELKOM – Recognition of Qualification held by Refugees” is to develop transparency, recognition and validation of skills and qualifications held by refugees, immigrants, and third-country nationals in Belgium, Greece, Iceland, Italy and Sweden. This will make it easier to study and work in the host countries, leading to further social inclusion and integration.
The project was kicked-off on September 2017 and will continue its work until August 2019. During the first part of the project, each partner has conducted a primary literature research on the current situation in their country about the existing educational schemes and actions in the field of APL and ECVET. The report for this first period can be accessed here.
Project partners involved in this project are Futuro Digitale, Medborgarskola, OECON, and UC Leuven Limburg. For more information, click here.
